2. Enroll

• Or, print out Printer Friendly (pdf) version of authorization form, fill out, and send it back to us.

• Receive upgraded meter. Your Ameren Illinois utility will replace your existing meter with a new meter capable of recording your hourly electricity usage. There is no additional cost for the new meter.
• Once your new meter has been installed, your participation in Power Smart Pricing will begin at the start of your next billing cycle. You will receive a message letting you know when you will go onto the hourly rate.

3. Start Saving with Power Smart Pricing!

• Keep seasonal price patterns in mind and shift some of your electricity usage to times when electricity prices are low.
• Once enrolled, CNT Energy will notify you in advance when prices will be high, so you can plan your energy-saving actions. You can also check daily prices online or by calling 1-877-655-6028.
• After your first bill on Power Smart Pricing is issued, you can log in to access online tools and see detailed breakdowns of your hourly electricity usage along with hourly price information.
